I visited Tilgate Nature Centre again yesterday with some family members. It is good for the children mainly but it is also a great way to enjoy some fresh air.

I took some nice shots of the animals and even the lemurs were out for a bit of fun this time.

It was great to see them outside as they are shy creatures and seem to stay inside.

The nature centre has some impressive birds too. A pair of emus and a condor!

Elsewhere, a variety of mamals were grazing.

As always, the meerkats were very active. Always difficult to get a still shot of these as they are constantly scurrying around scratching up the ground looking for morsels to eat. I took a zoomed in picture of one sitting for a few seconds. It was actually looking straight at the camera (phone) 馃槅. All my other pictures of the meerkats were terribly blurred by movement unfortunately, and even this one is not great! 馃檭

We enjoyed refreshments in the very popular room which is just outside the nature centre in a garden area called the Walled Garden.

Altogether another nice morning out enjoying this very mild late October weather.
