Read about this new development proposal just below where we live. The DA was for a large number of apartments on the edge of the old bowling club covering 4 existing properties. The board says 19 beds and 12 baths and 7 cars. Does not sound like an apartment block across the 4 stands which at a minimum already have 12 beds. I smell a rat
Been raining a lot - golf course is closed. Walked around the road rather than across the course
Walked the side track down to the creek track. The local landcare group has done a lot of clearing - chopped away the ferns and set them up above ground

Getting to hate seeing these on the tracks. No matter how hard the biodiversity team works the man with the tools makes the choices on the track. Guideline says 4m wide trail and 2m each side chopped back

This used to be a small side creek. Now hosting a large sink and a nifty stone wall. They can do whatever they want here as orchids do not prosper where water flows

Track had been chopped in 9 inches. This would have taken out the hyacinth orchid tubers that were there last season

Back to track work. Photo taken back from the original rock crossing. They have carved out a wider crossing about 2 to 3 feet into the original rock. When the big rain comes, this will be a 40 metres wide creek that cannot be walked across. Why? Tradie with a digger
The one site where pterostylis hispidula grows is the one place the digger made its turns. All ground in. There is a chance though we will see them flower next year if the ground stays undisturbed till then. Digger is still here - going to turn around somewhere

Did cook Thai massaman chicken curry for dinner. Not the best cook - potatoes were not cooked enough. Chicken skin was good
