A different day lining up. It is raining to start. My wife is housebound after breaking her foot yesterday. Need to be close at hand if she needs help.
Did walk up to shops to get the one key ingredient for dinner - coriander. Rain had stopped.
Did go for a short walk to get the steps in - up past the pink hibiscus and then along the highway past the church
There are signs of spring - warm days and nights not cool has the flowers confused

Cute little cottage. Does not look like anything social worth heritage protection - likely to be a knockdown. Big plot behind is a good chance there will be an up and behind extension
Clouds broke for a clear blue sky behind. Garden liked the rain - walker liked the sun

Some creature ate holes in this mushroom. Not much left for Beef Wellington and a long way from Leongatha. I was there a few weeks
Bromeliads are in season - was good to get steps in dry
Did cook dinner - a spicy Thai chicken mince dish with coriander.
Onion and garlic sauteed. Add in some chilli and spring onions. Then add the chicken mince - stir it over till it all goes from pink to white
Sauce goes in next - light soy, dark soy, fish sauce, oyster sauce, a touch of sugar. I prefer to use sweet soy - ketjap manis.
When all said and done add in a cup of chopped coriander # yep a whole cup. Serve with rice - was yum and done in 35 minutes while we watched 36 minute Masterchef challenge
