ENGLISH:
Hello my dear vegan community, nice to greet you again, I hope and you are having a happy weekend! 馃
Today I'm over here joining this week's vegan challenge, a challenge that I love and that our friend @sirenahippie has brought.
And how not to participate in this initiative if Pineapple is one of my favorite fruits, not only for its flavor and versatility in the kitchen, but also for all the nutrients that this exotic fruit offers us.
I love to eat it in pieces in the morning as soon as I get up, I usually accompany it with chopped Milk, Cambur and Lemon, it is very refreshing and delicious, besides I not only enjoy the pulp, but also the shell, with it I prepare very rich juices or teas, so nothing goes to waste.
Well I tell you that my husband and I went to two of our favorite supermarkets to buy our Pineapple and it turns out that there was none, so we had to go to the fruit store of the gochos, here in Venezuela they have become famous because they bring merchandise from the Andean areas of our country very fresh and cheaper than in many other places.
We are very regular customers of this place, the truth is that I don't know why we didn't think of coming here before going around.
Well, we arrived and found beautiful pineapples.
To choose them I go straight to the point, first I observe that the shell is beautiful, if it is greenish I do not buy it, and the second thing I do and that gives me the assurance that my pineapple will be sweet and rich is to smell it, for me the smell says it all hahahaha, I do not know but it has happened to me that I have seen pineapples that look very nice but when I smell them, they do not give off their rich characteristic smell.
I chose a medium pineapple that gave off its rich smell.
Here you can see the price, 40 bs, a little more than a dollar, maybe in other places it is a little cheaper, but I don't really care because this one was well worth it.
To preserve the pineapple, I wash it very well with a special brush to wash fruits, remove the shell thoroughly, then I cut it into squares, put it in a plastic container with a lid and put it in the refrigerator, it usually lasts two to three days, of course it depends on the size of the fruit.
Another thing I usually do is to wash the shell very well and if I am not going to use it at the moment, I keep it in the fridge, to use it later to make juices, Chichas, or teas, of course the shell has to be in very good condition to use it and when I tell you that nothing is lost here is because my husband loves to eat the hardest part of the Pineapple (the heart), so I always keep it for him.
Well my dear friends this is my contribution about this amazing and delicious fruit, one more purchase that I enjoyed very much.
Blessings, See you soon.

Bueno llegamos y encontramos hermosas Pi帽as.
