Now, check out my battle this week, featuring my Giant Roc - watch as I narrowly snatch the Draw from the jaws of defeat lmaooooooo
As you can see from the photo, cha boi CaptainDingus is on the Bottom.
My opponent, Carom333 is on top and they are bringing a pretty STACKED deck to the table... I honestly thought I was going to lose... badly. Like... a NFL Lineman beating up a six year old...
However, for this challenge, I didn't mind sacrificing a few rating points to make my entry though 😜
Let's look at their setup first, then mine...
They used a Tarsa, probably a L3 or perhaps higher... a L3 Tarsa allows them to control L2 Legendary Monsters and has a price tag of $70...
In the 1st position (Tank Position) they have a Rare, Neutral Monster - "Prismatic Energy"... and it's a Level 3!... That's about $60...
You can find this monster in the middle and it is a Gray color with TEN (10) Hitpoints!! #Beefcake
Above that, he has 4 additional monsters and they are in position 2-5, starting on the Top Left (2) and working to the Top Right (5)
They are
2: Level 2 "Lord Arianthus"... That card has a $440 price tag currently o.O...
3: Foil Scavo somethingorother... Level 3... $2 or so... meh.
4: A F@#$!%G LEVEL TWO... F@#$!%G Hydra... Bro are you for real?!?! That's $750 buckaroos if you guys are wondering...
I DRANK IT WAY BEFORE RON SWANSON, DAMNIT!!!
COUGH... Right! Moving on!!
Last but not least in the [5] Position at the Top Right is a Level 2 SCORCH Fiend... a paltry $33 for this lil guy... 🙄
It would appear from this lineup, that Carom333 was not just attempting to win... they were trying to beat me to death... WITH THEIR WALLET lmaooooo

Now keep in mind, this could be rented... but it could also be owned... no one knows 😏
I tallied this to show you that $$$ =/= Victory! It certainly HELPS... But it doesn't guarantee you ANYTHING.
On to my lineup of loveable lollygaggers:
The FIRST thing I want you to notice... is ALL of my cards are LEVEL 1... Because I just have a Level 1 Tarsa as my summoner... I'm working on getting her leveled up... but alas... not yet... She's part of the FREE starter cards.
Now... Why did I use Tarsa as my summoner? Because the battle has the modifier POISON and she adds 1 HP and 1 Atk... That 1 HP can mean a world of difference!
How much is a L1 Tarsa you ask? How about $0 my dudes & dudettes!
In my Tank Position (Center) is a L1 Lava Monster...
He's tough, with 2 Armor and 6 HP he also halves dmg from Ranged and Melee monsters... Makes him a tough cookie... also... he's one of the Free, Starter Cards and REALLY useful as your Tank!
So how much is this Smoking Hot Living Lava Tank Extraordinairre?!?!... You guessed it... Zero. NADA. $0.

In my #2 Slot, I put my swanky Alpha Edition Giant Roc. Why? Because in addition to Flying it has the ability Reach!
Reach allows Monsters with Melee Attack to hit from the SECOND SLOT in addition to the Tank Slot!!
What about the 5th Slot? No. Reach ONLY allows Melee to attack from the SECOND Slot as a perk of being a leggyboi... or something.
I dunno man, look at it. It's carrying a freakin' elephant... That's a big bird... thing. CA CAWWWWWWWWWWW!

In my #3 Slot I put a Creeping Ooze or StickyBoi as I call him... Why do I call it that?? Well... Because... It gives their team -1 Speed... Because... Sticky??? I DON'T KNOW DON'T JUDGE ME 😖
Super useful lil guy, 1 Mana, fits anywhere, Level 1 and costs a WHOPPING: $4.75
IMPORTANT - If you plan on playing in Silver or Higher League, please consider getting a Level FOUR or Higher Creeping Ooze as they will gain 1 Melee Atk at L4... They're $32 roughly and if you're going to be competitive at higher levels... well... you'll need all the advantages you can get!
In my #4 Slot... Tucked SAFELY away behind the front line is my GO-TO CHAMPION of the Poison Battle Mod! He's the CHEAT CODE for Victory (usually) and he is and ABSOLUTE UNIT... That's right... I'm talking about my Level 1 Forgotten One!
Now take a moment and look at that face... Yikes.
That's DEFINITELY a face for Radio and after close inspection IT DOES look like Surtur from Thor Ragnarok banged a Balrog and they put it up for adoption... At least that's my thoughts on where it came from and how it got it's name...
I can't speak for certain that my description is Canon or not... But you won't unsee that mental image any time soon 😘
Why did I choose Big Angry Dory? Because - Forgotten One has the ability Immunity and that says "u no get da icky" from Poison and such (No negative status mods... like Poison).
I tuck him in the back so the Poison can whittle the enemy team down leaving my Champ all nice an refreshed so he can UNLEASH THE BEATZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!
A Level 1 Forgotten One is $3.92 and you should be buying one before you finish my Battle Report... Well... Go on... I'll be here when you're back...

After my Champion of Poison Brawls... In the 5th slot is me again... Scotch Fiend.
No... NO. SCORCH. FIEND. L1... You know about this guy from earlier but mine is only a L1 and they're like $10... Ten BUCKS... Go get one... of each Fiend...
Last but ABSOLUTELY not least for me... Is the humorous mascot seen in most of my battles... I bought it for teh lolz and the bonus DEC in winning battles 🤷♂
Why did I put him in the back with the Fiend? To protek my Balrog/Surtur abomination from Sneak Monsters 😑
Please note: The Furious Chicken or RAGECHIKUM is a RARE Neutral Unit from the Reward Set with ~ 27.5k in circulation...
That's a RARE... with 27.5k out there... A LEVEL ONE IS $31... THIRTY ONE DOLLARS...

Truthfully I only put the Chicken in for the DEC bonus if I won... and it served no actual purpose in the battle...

In the end... I couldn't prevail against the odds... I didn't defeat my opponent Carom333... ... ...
But I didn't LOSE either 😏
That's right... my Squad of L1's squared off against their Goonz and straight up STOLE A DRAW FROM THE JAWS OF DEFEAT!!!
BAHAHAHAHAAHAHHHAHAHAAHAH the $1,355 couldn't lay the smackdown on $26 worth of cards!!!
So there you have it - MONEY does NOT guarantee VICTORY!
