Today I bought a new card for my Splinterlands game. The card is Tarsa. So when I got the chance, I finally bought the card. As you can see in the picture, I bought the Regular Tarsa card and it is currently at Level 1.
One of the most interesting things about Splinterlands for me is that same strategy cannot be used in every battle. Sometimes you get a lot mana and sometimes you have very little mana. And in battles with low mana, choosing right card becomes very important. Because there is no opportunity to use cards with unnecessarily high mana. Then you have to create as many good combinations as possible with low mana. This is where Tarsa seems quite important to me.
As you can see in the picture, Tarsa's Mana Cost is only 4. This is one of the biggest advantages of this card for me. Sometimes when Mana is limited in Battle, spending 4 Mana on a Summoner seems quite reasonable. Because even after selecting a Summoner, I still have some Mana in my hand, with which I can select another Monster.
The best part of Tarsa for me is its Ability. This card gives +1 Melee Attack and +1 Health to my Friendly Melee Attack Monsters. In other words, using Tarsa not only works as a Summoner, but also increases the strength of the entire Team a little. Especially if I have a few good Melee Monsters in my Team, Tarsa can make them more effective.
This is much more important in Battles with little Mana. Because with little Mana, it is often not possible to use big Monsters. Then I have to create a Team with a few Monsters with small Mana. If the Attack and Health of those Monsters can be increased a little, then I can create a relatively strong Team with the same Mana cost.
I personally like using Melee Attack Monsters. Because they can attack directly from the front and if positioned correctly, they can quickly weaken the opponent's Monster. Tarsa increases the Attack of those Melee Monsters. As a result, the front-row Monster of my Team can become even stronger.
And not only Attack, but Health also increases by 1. Although it may seem small, this extra 1 Health can sometimes make a big difference during Battle. If a Monster survives an opponent's Attack for only 1 Health, then that Monster gets the chance to attack again on the next Turn. And sometimes an extra Attack can change the outcome of the entire Battle.
That's why I think Tarsa is a very effective Summoner especially for low-Mana Battles. In low-Mana Battles, every Mana has to be calculated. If I can increase both the Attack and Health of my Melee Monsters by spending 4 Mana, then it seems like a pretty good investment to me.
When I bought the card today, the picture shows that its price was 124.56 DEC. My goal wasn't just to buy cards. I want to gradually add cards and summoners to my collection that will be useful in different types of battles. Because not all battles are the same. Sometimes there are rules where you have to use a certain type of monster, and sometimes there are limited mana. So the more diverse my collection is, the more opportunities I have to create strategies.
Another thing I like about Tarsa is that it is the summoner of Fire Splinter. Fire Splinter has many Melee monsters with which this summoner can be used well. So when I play a battle with a Fire Team in the future, I will definitely keep Tarsa among my important choices.
I think it's not just about buying a card, you also need to know in which battle and how to use it. The same applies to Tarsa. If there is a battle where you can make a good team using Melee Monsters and have low mana, then Tarsa may be my first choice. Again, if there is a rule where Melee Attack is not effective, then naturally another Summoner will have to be used.
Another thing is that I have now bought Tarsa at Level 1. The list of levels is also shown in the picture. If I can collect enough Card Copies in the future, I will try to Level Up it gradually. Because the use of a Card at a higher Level can be more powerful and there may be opportunities to use it well in different Leagues.
For me, the issue of Card Level Up is also one of the most interesting parts of Splinterlands. When a Card gradually goes from Level 1 to a higher Level, not only does the number of Collections increase, but its use in Battle also changes. So I am keeping Tarsa as an important part of my Collection from now on.
The most important thing is that I feel quite good after buying this card. Because many times before starting a Battle, we do not understand which strategy will work. But when there are different types of Summoners and Monsters in our Collection, we get the freedom to create our own strategy. Tarsa gave me another chance at that freedom.
Especially low-Mana battles always seem a bit challenging to me. Choosing the wrong card there can weaken the entire team. But if you use a 4-Mana Summoner like Tarsa to increase the Attack and Health of Melee Monsters, then it is possible to create a balanced team even with low Mana.
However, I also think that having Tarsa alone is not a guarantee of winning a battle. Positioning, Monster Selection, Speed, Ability, and the opponent's Strategy are all important here. Tarsa is just a means to strengthen my team. I have to choose the right Monster at the right time and keep in mind what kind of team the opponent can create.
Finally, I would like to say that today's card purchase is not just buying a new card for me. It is a small step to strengthen my Splinterlands Collection a little more. Tarsa's 4 Mana Cost and ability to give +1 Attack and +1 Health to Melee Monsters are quite attractive to me, especially for low-Mana battles.
Tarsa was added to my collection today. Now my job is to use this card in different battles and understand its true effectiveness. Hopefully, Tarsa will help me win a lot of battles, especially in low-mana battles. A small-mana Summoner, but its impact can be very big when used with the right teamโthat's what's most interesting about Tarsa to me. ๐ฅ๐ฎ
