I bought an Etin Spearman card and after looking closely at its statistics, abilities and progression potential I think this Etin Spearman can become a useful addition to my collection and battle strategy in Splinterlands. The card shown in the screenshots is a Common Fire Unit. Can be played in Wild and Survival formats. I paid a total of 182.73 DEC for the Etin Spearman, which makes it an investment that deserves thought.
At Level 1 the Etin Spearman has 3 Ranged Attack, 1 Speed, 0 Armor and 8 Health. It also has an estimated power of 15 and about 9.9 estimated PP. Although its speed is low at first its 3 Ranged Attack is decent. Lets it deal damage from the backline. The 8 Health also gives an amount of survivability for a Common-level unit.
One of the aspects of Etin Spearman is how it progresses through the levels. The statistics show that the Etin Spearman requires copies to reach levels. At Level 2 the Etin Spearman needs 3 copies; Level 3 needs 5 copies.
This progression shows that the Etin Spearman can become much stronger when you add copies. At Level 2 the Etin Spearman’s Speed goes from 1 to 2 while keeping 3 Ranged Attack and 8 Health. At Level 3 the Etin Spearman keeps 3 Ranged Attack and 2 Speed. It gains an ability. From Level 4 the Etin Spearman becomes more appealing because its attack, speed, health and abilities keep improving.
The ability progression is especially important. The Etin Spearman starts gaining an ability at Level 3. That ability stays at levels. Another ability appears at Level 8. By Level 10 the Etin Spearman has 5 Ranged Attack, 3 Speed and 10 Health, plus multiple abilities. This makes the maximum-level Etin Spearman more powerful than the Level 1 version.
Another impressive feature is the growth in estimated power. At Level 1 the Etin Spearman has 15 estimated power. This rises to 45 at Level 2 75 at Level 3 180 at Level 4 and 375 at Level 5. At Level 6 the estimated power reaches 780 followed by 1,575 at Level 7 and 2,580 at Level 8. At Level 9 it reaches 4,575 while the Level 10 Etin Spearman hits a 7,954 estimated power. These numbers show how much the Etin Spearman’s collection value and competitive potential can grow with copies.
The estimated PP statistic also climbs steadily. The Level 1 Etin Spearman has 9.9 PP while Level 5 reaches 247.5 PP. This makes the Etin Spearman increasingly valuable from a collection and power standpoint as it is upgraded.
However one important point is that Etin Spearman is not universally playable. The purchase screen says that the Etin Spearman can only be used in Wild and Survival and a Wild Pass is needed for Wild Ranked play. So before buying more copies players should think about whether they play in these formats. For someone who focuses mainly on battles this restriction may not be a problem.
From a perspective Etin Spearman can be useful when a player wants to build a Fire lineup with ranged support. Its 3 Ranged Attack at Level 1 lets it deal damage from a spot while its 8 Health gives it some protection, against enemy attacks. Its low Speed means that positioning and team composition will be important. Pairing the Etin Spearman with cards that can boost speed protect backline units or provide offense could help maximize its effectiveness.
I paid 182.73 DEC to buy Etin Spearman. That purchase is more than adding a new card to my collection. It is an investment in a Fire unit that can grow a lot. Even the Level 1 version is useful. The higher levels unlock the card’s power. When it reaches Level 10 it can have 5 Ranged Attack, 3 Speed, 10 Health and several abilities making Etin Spearman a thrilling long‑term project.
I am happy with this buy because Etin Spearman starts with stats and improves strongly over time. It may not be the card at Level 1. Its growth makes it far more interesting. With copies it can become a ranged attacker that plays a key role, in Wild and Survival battles. For collectors and players who focus on Fire Etin Spearman is definitely a card to keep an eye on, upgrade and test in battle strategies.
