Today's 43 mana battle was very interesting and exciting. At first, when I saw my lineup and my opponent's lineup I was a little confused because my opponent had filled all the monster slots while I was missing one monster.
I thought it was going to be a very good and challenging battle ahead. According to me, my tank positions were good but unfortunately they did not perform the way I expected. Both of my tank monsters were eliminated early in the battle but later my middle position monsters performed really well and completely changed the direction of the match.
What was my strategy? I selected my first monster as a strong tank supporter as well as a melee attacker. The first monster had the Taunt ability so that it could keep taking damage from the enemy units while protecting all my other monsters from every type of attack.
My second monster was my secondary tank that was capable of dealing both magic and melee attacks with multiple strikes. This combination gave my frontline a good balance of offense and defense.
In the middle positions I selected two powerful attackers. one with magic attack and the other with ranged attack. Both of these monsters were purely offensive and gave me excellent support throughout the battle.
My last monster was Spellmonger, which came with two useful abilities along with good armor and health. I kept this monster in the back position so it could continue supporting my team during the later rounds.
As the battle progressed and my middle position monsters started moving to the front I realized that the direction of the battle had completely changed.
My stronger monsters were now leading the fight and they started eliminating the enemy units one by one. Despite losing both of my tanks early my remaining monsters performed brilliantly and in the end I secured a great victory.
REVERSE SPEED
What were the two rulesets in this battle? The first one was Reverse Speed. As you all know, in Reverse Speed battles the monsters with the lowest speed attack first and also have the highest chance of evading enemy attacks.
Whenever you face this kind of ruleset you should select monsters with lower speed. One important thing to be noted is that you should not focus too much on speed. Instead you should choose monsters with high health and heavy attack power so they can continue dealing damage every round and that is the key point in this ruleset
In this battle I mainly selected monsters with lower speed while focusing on health and strong attackers.
OUTSIDERS
The second ruleset was Outsiders. In this ruleset you are allowed to summon only one Wild monster. Therefore if you have the best Wild monster in your deck you should definitely select it. It is even better if your Wild monster is a strong tank because it can protect the rest of your lineup while absorbing enemy attacks.
Today's 43 mana battle was also special because I had one of my favorite monsters, Black Widow in my lineup. Her performance was really amazing. I own this monster card at Level 1
I is an 8 mana monster with 2 ranged attack power. She was one of my favorite attackers in this battle because she kept attacking with two damage every round and played an important role in helping me secure the victory.
Black Widow also has 1 armor and 5 health which gives her decent durability during battles. she has 2 speed. However in this Reverse Speed ruleset, speed is not the deciding factor.
Instead monsters with the lowest speed attack first and gain the advantage. That is why I focused more on health and attack power rather than speed while building my lineup.
What do you think about the Black Widow monster card? Do you have this card in your deck? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
