This is the third video of my series - calisthenic basics - where i show you how to perform the basic movements of calisthenics.
How to squat:
Start with standing between shoulder and hipwidth, your feet should be between a 30° angle and parallel to each other. Start the movement with bending the knee and the hips simultaneously. Take a look on your knees, do they go in the direction of your toes? Good. If not, try so. Take your hands in front of you, for balance reason.
Go as deep as you can, with your heel on the ground. With your own bodyweight, there should be no problem with rounding the back in the lower part of the movement - exept you have a problem with your lower back. Then just go as low as you sustain a stable and straight back. Repeat.
As the Squat can be mastered very easy, you can make it harder, if you do the jumping version. Just land in the same position where you jumped.
