There's so many things I want to do in my lifetime, but the more I live, the more I think there's not enough time to do all these things. Plus, there's the distraction of chasing money.
Chasing money, acquiring wealth and great comfort has become the bread and butter of everybody's lives. It's like, it has become the air we breath. Nobody does anything for free or for fun anymore. So, if you aren't chasing money, it may feel like the world is leaving you behind.
In situations like this, people would tell you to monetize your gifts and passion. And that's my point, everything has profit, finance and money tied to it somehow. If you ain't talking about money, you talking nonsense. I don't know how to monetize my passion. Even if I do, it may take years tweaking to get it right. Years I would actually be living and delivering on that passion.
Well, what am I doing right now? Nothing. Trying to figure how to monetize my skills so I can afford to live my passion.
Anyway, I have a void in me that was created by the things I did and didn't experience as a young human. Not enough cold, not enough hot. I know that void and I see it everywhere I go. I see it all around me. Within my extended family and with my acquaintances. Whenever I see the symptoms of that void on other people, I feel a certain sense of responsibility to step in and do something.
Wait a minute, this sounds like messiah complex. Wait a fucken minute. No, I don't want to save anybody. I am not anybody's messiah, I just want to make an impact that I myself didn't receive.
I guess I have to find a balance between being a messiah and being a mentor. But what the hell do I know that I want to teach anybody anyway? I know somethings but I am ashamed to be associated with them.
I know compassion and empathy. But these aren't the things I want to teach. These aren't the symptoms of that void that I want to fill. When filled, compassion and empathy would stop being a trigger that others would use to extort kindness from me.
Well then, what do I want to teach anybody? I know I can teach young men how to stop being shy and how to speak up. That's really important. A lot of young men don't know how to speak out and you see the timidity in how they carry themselves. Bottling the words they ought to let out when needed.
I also understand anger born out of introversion which was born out of neglect. I know how to turn these things around. How to make young men become more of themselves and less of what their childhood conditioned them to be.
A young man ought not to be introverted. I hate to be associated with that word. Even if you have a melancholic personality, it is great to also be firm, outgoing when need be and outspoken when need be also. Don't be a push over.
Now, I have gone too far. Back it up a little. I want to give the guidance and counsel that I didn't receive to younger men that need them. And oh, I made lots of bad choices with women and I can help with that also.
So, if not for the distraction of chasing money, I would have made it my life's work in mentoring young men. Help them find their way.
So then, I have to first of all, take care of this distraction. Bring it into the whole equation somehow. I make money, while I do my life's work.
And oh, I need to build a livestock farm and a maternity hospital in my village. The farm would be used to curb poor nutrion in children between 1-6 years old. Free egg and potatoes breakfast Monday - Friday.
Then the maternity hospital would serve the pregnant women for free and also serve as a first aid clinic.
I want to do these, among many other things in my lifetime. Let's go.
