Podchodzę do panelu, a tam znowu wybite 24 stopnie!
[ENG] I was utterly exhausted after my last night shift. I don't even have the energy to recount the latest absurd battle over the office thermostat. I only managed to set the air conditioning to a tolerable 22°C for a fleeting moment before feeling like I was melting again just half an hour later. I walked over to the panel, and sure enough, it was set back to 24°C! I changed it one more time, but the relief was short-lived. Eventually, I just threw in the towel. Whenever I felt like I was baking, I simply stepped outside for a short walk around the parking lot to clear my head and survive until morning.
[ENG] In the afternoon, I went for a relaxing stroll around the countryside of Saint-Symphorien. It was way too hot for a run, and besides, I needed to focus on some light recovery. I walked along dirt roads and stubble fields left from the freshly harvested grain. Quite by accident, I stumbled upon a hidden vineyard tucked away between the fields. I knew about one vineyard in Spiennes, just 2 to 3 kilometers away, but I had no idea there was another one right here. The main difference between the two is that in Spiennes, a dirt track cuts right through the middle, allowing you to walk freely among the vines, whereas the field in Saint-Symphorien is tightly fenced off with barbed wire, leaving zero chance of sneaking a taste of any grapes.
