Wczoraj pogoda była niepewna, prognozy zapowiadały deszcze po południu, dlatego zebraliśmy się szybciej niż zwykle na spacer do Spiennes. Żona wolałaby jechać do lasu w Havre, ale ostatnio często tam spacerowaliśmy, więc mam przesyt. W ocenie żony las byłby lepszy, bo jakby padało to pod drzewami byśmy tak nie zmokli. Skoro wybrałem ścieżki wokół Spiennes to mogłem się tylko modlić, żeby nie padało. Niestety moje modły nie zostały wysłuchane, bo mniej więcej w połowie złapał nas drobny deszcz. Oczywiście nie obyło się bez odpowiedniego komentarza ze strony żony.
Ten deszczyk nawet nie zdążył nas zmoczyć, po chwili znów wyszło słońce. Przez chwilę szliśmy po drodze, po prawej stronie rozciągały się stalowe i granatowe chmury po horyzont, a po lewej stronie błękitne niebo z kilkoma chmurkami. Po powrocie do Spiennes dostrzegliśmy na jednym z podwórek rzeźbę w kształcie smoka wyciętą z żywopłotu. Charakterystyczna sylwetka smoka znanego z lokalnego święta Doudou prezentowała się bardzo okazale.
[ENG] Yesterday the weather was uncertain, the forecast predicted rain in the afternoon, so we got together earlier than usual for a walk to the Spiennes. My wife would have preferred the forest in Le Havre, but we've been walking there a lot lately, so I'm fed up. My wife thinks the forest is better because if it rains we won't get so wet under the trees. Since I had chosen the paths around Spiennes, I could only pray that it wouldn't rain. Unfortunately, my prayers were not answered as we were caught in a light rain about halfway through. Of course, it didn't go by without a comment from my wife.
This drizzle didn't even have time to soak us, because after a while the sun came out again. We walked along the road for a while, with steel and navy blue clouds stretching to the horizon on the right, and a blue sky with a few clouds on the left. Back in Spiennes, we noticed a sculpture in the shape of a dragon cut out of a hedge in one of the courtyards. The characteristic silhouette of the dragon, known from the local Doudou festival, looked very impressive.
