A Stomach Filled by "My Greek Taverna"

Yesterday, I visited “My Greek Taverna” to fill my hungry stomach. The branch I visited was the J-Centre Mall Branch. I was excited to try the food because it was my first time to eat in that restaurant. I am not familiar with Greek food but I wanted to try because maybe, it will suit my palate so I tried ordering some.

With my company, we ordered the same food from the menu. I wanted to give a full food review but I was in a hurry that I didn’t have the time to take pictures and ask certain information about the restaurant, hence I would just like to give you a peek of what they serve and what are my thoughts about it.

It was late in the afternoon when I went there that’s why I decided not to get any heavy meal just for snacks. Me and my company ordered the Small Beef Doner Kebab. I would say that I like how there were lots of ingredients but the beef doner kebab seems bland. Nevertheless, I finished it in no time because I was so hungry. Back with the service, while we were eating, the staff was so noisy and I didn’t know what was happening in the kitchen. Someone is shouting because there is something in the floor. I didn’t mind them because I was so busy eating my meal.

Another item that we ordered in the menu was the Pork Kapsalon which doesn’t look like there is pork in it. But the sauce was really great, so it redeemed itself. I love fries so I enjoyed my meal. I just wish there was more pork in it.

Overall, I went home with a happy stomach. I just wished that the staff and the service were better but I think there is always a room for improvement. Will I visit “My Greek Taverna” once again? Well, maybe. I cannot give it a rating because I only tried 2 of the items in their menu, so it is just reasonable not to judge the restaurant with just trying two.
