Early this morning, on my way to the daily fresh bread shopping, I went for a short walk through some meadows surrounded by building sites at the outskirts of town, to stretch my legs a bit and eventually take some photographs before the grocery store opens.
There I spotted this Common blue butterfly, which is very common indeed, and while is very beautiful, is so common that I usually photograph him without much enthusiasm. And so I did this time, just to do something beside aimlessly walking through the early hours.
I was completely unaware of the surprise this morning held for me. Only after the grocery shopping, when I came home and enlarged the picture, I saw that those lovely wings were covered with amazing minuscule pearls of water.
After all these years of photographing the same area, the most common and seemingly uninteresting things, still give me great moments of beauty.
That's it :) a very short, kind of Haiku episode.
As always in these posts on Steemit the photograph and a few crops of the same photograph - are my work.
