It wasn't so long ago ...
... it was the end of summer, last summer, the year was 2020.
I found this day, the 13. September 2020, compressed and nicely packaged in a little yellow folder appropriately named 13.9.20.
According to these photographs ...
... I spent quite some time on the beach ...
... about 7 kilometers from home, near the seaside village called Liznjan.
The weather was nice, the view was clear ... the distant land across the bay was visible in lovely shades of blue ...
... the small white boat was on its way to the port ...
... or some beach not far from the port of Liznjan.
I was also exploring the coastal vegetation ... and I shot some flowers ...
... this is the Cirsium arvense thistle ...
... I found this small wasp on the composite flowers of the Achillea millefolium plant ...
... and on the leaf of Plantago lanceolata, I found this interesting larva ...
... of some green lacewing.
The day was mostly sunny ... but ...
... there was a commotion of darker blue clouds along the North - eastern horizon ...
... and I could photograph the interplay of sunlight and cloud shadows above that part of the coastline ...
... it looked like witnessing to some shifting, always changing landscape design.
At some point I visited some green area further from the sea, but also near Liznjan ...
... there I found an unexpected treasure ...
... someone threw away a handful of thin, colorful threads ...
... they looked pretty good on green vegetation ... and yes :) this was just garbage that shouldn't have been there ... but it was some highly decorative garbage, so kudos for unethical, environment unfriendly behavior with a sparkle of style and real talent.
Some potter wasp has built a small nest not far from there ...
... the Neoscona adianta spider was busy enveloping his prey ...
... while this interesting, minuscule spider was resting at the edge of the web ... I see this species feeding on the remains of insects caught in webs of bigger spiders.
This shot was taken on my way home ...
... while passing through the village of Liznjan ...
... a gang of pigeons was feeding on some tree by the road.
Once back home I received a visit ...
... my HIVE & real life friend 
... when folded in defensive position it looks like some strange rock on the sea floor.
This is the Calappa granulata crab ... that inhabits sandy areas from 20 to 400 meters deep.
This is the most peculiar looking crab in this area ... it's pretty rare here, in the northernmost habitat of this species.
When I was taking this photograph ... of the very interestingly shaped pincer that looks like some crested bird, I didn't see the insect in the shot ...
... only early this morning, when I was preparing the photographs for the post, I noticed the wasp, the very common Vespula vulgaris ... it was a cool surprise, so I made this crop ...
... and that's it ... these were the only photographs in the folder, so the day in this post has to end - THE END. As always in these posts on HIVE, the photographs are my work.
