I prepared to leave the stadium with Mel and Manny, observing the bustling life of the WLF community. As we descended to the ground level, I saw workers managing chores like laundry and food prep. At the kennels, I took a moment to play fetch with a guard dog before continuing our mission.
When Abby was busy packing her stuffs, there came Manny taking Mel along. It looked like Mel was already pregnant with a big belly bump, yet she was still determined to head out to the front with the rest of the squad.
We started heading ahead while Mel mentioned we needed to take a guard dog on our way. I noticed we were going towards the ground level of the stadium, moving through the massive concrete corridors that served as the WLF headquarters.
When we were climbing down the stairs, I kept noticing around and seeing those NPCs that were behaving so realistically. I noticed there were people mostly working on something, like some were preparing their lunch in the communal areas.
Then we passed this sector where some people were washing clothes. It seemed like it was their paid job to do this, as they were not washing only their personal clothes there but managing the laundry for the entire military force.
After reaching the ground level, I noticed there were some cages full of guard dogs. I tried this aerial shot to capture the layout of the kennels, seeing how the WLF trained their K9 units for tracking and combat.
After getting inside a cage, Mel and Manny picked the dog they were going to take along. But there came this one with a ball to play with me, and I stopped there to acknowledge the playful animal.
I decided to play with the dog, so I threw the ball away and the dog ran and fetched the ball to me real fast. It was a brief, heartwarming moment of normalcy in an grim and military-focused environment.
I understood the dog would do it repeatedly unless I did something rude, so I threw the ball out of the boundary this time. The dog just kept staring, getting near the boundary as he couldn't jump over the big wall.
I came out of that cage and noticed Mel and Manny kept walking ahead, taking a dog along with them. I started following them as we prepared to leave the safety of the stadium for the dangerous streets outside.
