I led Jesse through flooded ruins, diving underwater to reach a dry ledge. After Ellie helped Jesse climb into a dark building, we found several bodies left behind from a violent shootout. I managed to stealthily take out a WLF soldier, but the game crashed during a tense encounter.

We hit another dead end and realized the only way forward was to get wet again. It is never ideal, but we didn't have much of a choice. I took the lead and jumped right into the dark water, and Jesse followed close behind. You can see the ripples as we tried to get our bearings in the flooded ruins.

The path ahead was completely submerged, so we had to take a deep breath and dive. Moving underwater through these cramped spaces is always a bit nerve-wracking. We pushed through the murky mess and eventually surfaced on the other side, shaking off the water as we looked for a spot to climb out.

Once we scrambled up onto a dry ledge, we realized we were stuck once more. This place is like a maze of broken concrete and rebar. We stood there for a minute just catching our breath and scanning the walls, trying to figure out where the actual exit was hiding.

I finally spotted a small opening high up in the building wall. Since I couldn't reach it alone, Ellie asked Jesse for a boost. He lifted her up so she could grab the edge, and once she was steady, she reached back down and pulled Jesse up after her. It is great seeing them work together to get past these obstacles.

After we both made it inside the building, the light disappeared almost completely. We had to start creeping through the hallways in total darkness. These shots really capture that creepy feeling of not knowing what is waiting around the next corner while we scavenged for a way through.

Inside the building, the mood got even darker. We stumbled across several dead bodies that had clearly seen better days. The first one was completely burned, and the others looked like they had been through a brutal shootout.
It's a grim reminder of how violent this area has become and what happens to people who get caught in the crossfire.

We finally managed to find an exit and get some fresh air. I originally thought we could head one way, but the path was totally blocked off by debris. We had no choice but to turn around and find a different route through the ruins, which is always frustrating when you're trying to keep a low profile.

As we moved forward, we spotted a squad of WLF soldiers patrolling the area. They were clearly on high alert and looking for us specifically. We had to stay low and hide behind whatever cover we could find. Watching them move and communicate makes the tension sky-high because you know one mistake could blow the whole thing.

I decided to thin out their numbers and targeted a soldier who was taming a guard dog. I managed to take him down silently with a stealth kill. The dog ran off for a second but quickly came back to investigate.
Just as I moved in to deal with the dog and clear the area, the game completely crashed on me. It was such an intense moment to have it all just freeze up.
We'll check what happens next in another post.
