Burdock flower does not belongs to group of typical wildflowers by its appearance. Whenever it blossom and this happening several times during the year, it attracts so many species of insects. I observing this plant whenever I have time and opportunities.
I can freely say that in first couple day after blossoming began this flower is occupied by various kind of insects; butterflies, all kind of wasps, flies, bumblebees, in basic all flying insects are there. I don't know why it happens, this flower have no very pleasant smell, actually I could say it stinks, but from unknown reason to me, all insects think quite opposite then me, they really like this flower, it seems they can't resist to it.
It's smell is sucks, but it's appearance and beautiful pink-purple color is really nice, irresistible. For today's post I prepared several black and white photos of this phenomenal wild flower. I hope you will like and enjoy in it. Thanks for stopping by :)
