The first time I was in Bali, I had a wonderful one-week getaway with my girlfriend.
But what attracted me the most during our trip, and what made me fall in love with Bali, was their art in the architecture of their Temples.
It is a unique style inherent only to Bali and perfectly preserved to this day in all the buildings, both old ones, and those that are being built at the moment.
Their art is characterized by a distinct symmetry, and it is pretty astonishing how these people manage to create such perfect replicas of the same thing.
Actually, symmetry is not their only feature.
Looking closer at their architecture, one can notice various motifs and shapes intertwined with extraordinary precision. Most of the patterns are made directly in the rock, which in itself is quite impressive and challenging.
As a photographer, this view was a real discovery for me, and I took hundreds of photos while trying to capture every detail of the Temples’ architecture.
I would say this is one of the most incredible places to take pictures of, and I will share all the best shots with you in the future.
