Hello everyone. Last weekend, I decided to take a late-night stroll through the old historical district of my city. Centuries ago, this area served as the core of a fortified settlement under Spanish authority, acting as a hub for trade and defense against pirate raids. Honestly, you only need to look at the vibrant, painted colonial houses to feel that deep sense of history still lingering in the air.

Since it was late on a Sunday night, the streets were completely deserted, giving me the perfect opportunity to walk around and capture a series of photos. Looking at the final shots, the quiet streets deliver a strange blend of nostalgia and an unsettling yet calm vibe—very much like stepping into a liminal space.

While tourists and locals usually crowd these avenues during daylight hours, exploring the area late at night offers a completely different, almost surreal perspective. Here are some of the photos I captured during my midnight walk.
