Researchers have recently created a bamboo cycle that can be used to simultaneously recharge mobile devices, smartphones and external dashboard simultaneously on the pedal. The speed generated by the bike pedaling works as a source of electricity.
Christina Espininosa Lopez of southern Mexico, who builds this bamboo bicycle, said that for the power transfer, a circuit was created that keeps the kinetic energy and transforms it into electricity.
In addition to the power converter system, a frame on this bicycle is assembled with a special resin bamboo attached to it.
Besides, by replacing metal parts, the goal of using natural materials was to create greater resistance (supporting 120 kilos), as well as making it light and low heat. Christina Lopez said that the bike will be released soon.
