Hello everyone

A beautiful day to you all, I hope you all are doing great just as I am doing here, with great joy, I bring to you one of my quick and recent design of a short dress I made for my client, just with two yards of fabric, I was able to achieve this

My client was gifted 6yard of fabric and decided to make two outfit from it, a gown and a skirt, the fabric has been given to me for long but since it wasn't urgent, I had to set it aside for the urgent work I had to deliver.

Just two days ago my client called me that I should bring her clothes tomorrow that she will be travelling, so I had to quickly work on it since it's just a simple short gown.

cutting a d sewing process

First, the fabric was folded in two to cut the front part, after which I marked out the vertical and horizontal measurement as well as the full length to bring out my client's shape.

The front bodice was placed on a folded fabric to cut out the back bodice with different on the neckline which is 2"

I cut out same shape on a lining and sew it together.

Finally, I cut out the sleeves which I also added lining to and a side pocket to make a complete dress.
