A beautiful day to you all out there as I bring you greetings from my sewing room, it is so nice to be here again after taking a little break to take care of my mother in law who is aged and needs care, i was there for awhile and now I'm back to the needle work family, it's feels so good to be back.

Today, i will be Sharing with you the making of this quick and easy fabric pouch I made with the combination of two colors of fabric. Before I left to take care of my mother in-law, I have had a request from my friend to make a pouch for her to keep her phone and cash, unfortunately I couldn't meet up with her request but as soon as I got back, I decided to make her pouch for her and this is the beautiful outcome.

Let's get started with the cutting and sewing process on how I made this beautiful pouch with the combination of two colors of fabric

From the first piece of fabric, I measured and cut out two pieces of fabric measuring 3 x 9"

I cut out another piece of fabric in two pieces measuring 4 x 9"

I picked each from both fabric and it was sewn together on my sewing machine

Each piece was placed on a lining and i cut out same shape

I decided to sew handle to the side of the pouch and I cut out a small piece for the handle, it was folded and sewn on both sides

I placed a zipper on the middle of both fabrics and sew it with the lining, after that, it was top stitched on both sides

I placed fabric to fabric and lining to lining then i placed the handle on one side of the pouch on the main fabric and it was sewn together round leaving opening on the lining

The excess zipper was trimmed off on both sides and it was turned to the right side through the opening on the lining.

This is the final and beautiful outcome of the fabric pouch I made for my friend using the combination of two colors of fabric.
