Today was the first time in 10 weeks that my wife and I were alone, and by alone I mean we left our child with the Grandparents for 30 minutes.
We packed up our stuff and thought of running away, but no we just went for a walk. It was funny, we did think about stretching out our walk, but realized if we did not return we would miss her. So we finished up our walk and returned, I always thought people were lying, that a kid was a ton of work, but I was the one lying to myself. It has been a awesome time, but raising another person is work. I am surprised mankind has made it this far, and at some point in history a generation just did not give up on the whole procreation part of life. Again I don't see how a single parent can handle it. Also I have been having a problem with the diapers, we have a blow out once a day, but I don't know if it is the diapers, or just the shear volume of output. Any tips from those long time parents out there?
