Carrie
Among Stephen King’s books, this is one of my favorites. It tells the story of an overweight, acne-ridden, shy, and naive girl who suffers abuse at home at the hands of her mother—a religious fanatic—as well as from her classmates, who view her as repulsive, dirty, and a total loser. Following systematic abuse and a traumatic event, the girl uses her telekinetic powers to carry out a massacre in her town.
De los libros de Stefen King este es uno de mis preferidos, nos habla de una chica con sobrepeso y granos, timida e ignorante que sufre abusos en casa a manos de su madre (una fanática religiosa) y sus compañeros de clase quienes la consideran desagradable, sucia y toda una perdedora, tras abuso sistemático y un evento traumático, la chica con sus poderes de telequinesis hace una masacre en su pueblo
This is the debut masterpiece of the great Stephen King, and it introduced us to a genius of horror. In this novel, King explores how systematic abuse and a lack of psychological support can completely devastate a mind—and how this leads to terrible consequences for those around the individual, whether they are culpable or not.
Es la obra maestra debut del gran Stephen King y nos dió a conocer al genio del terror, en esta novela King nos habla de como el abuso sistemático y la falta de ayuda psicológica debasta por completo una mente y como esto trae terribles consecuencias para laspersonas cercanas, culpables y no culpables
Misery
My second favorite book by this author. *Misery* tells the story of a deeply disturbed, obsessive woman suffering from severe erotomania who, by a twist of fate, encounters and "rescues" her favorite author. However, this "rescue" is, in reality, a kidnapping; while held captive, Paul is subjected to countless humiliations and forced to write another installment of Annie’s favorite book series.
Mi segundo libro preferido del autor. Misery nos relata sobre una mujer con una alta perturbación mental,obsesiva y con una grave erotomanía quien por azares del destino se encuentra y "salva" a su escritor favorito, sin embargo la "salvación" es realmente un secuestro y durante su encierro, Paul es sometido a miles de vejaciones mientras es obligado a escribir un número más del libro favorito de Annie
As an interesting detail, King stated that Annie is a reflection of his own drug addictions—"necessary" to avoid withdrawal, yet destructive and lethal.
Como dato curioso, King afirmó que Annie es un reflejo de sus propias adicciones a las drogas, "necesarias" para no sufrir abstinencia pero destructivas y letales

This is a trilogy that recounts the paranormal events that took place at the Perron family’s farmhouse (yes, the same family from *The Conjuring*). The trilogy gets its name from the fact that there were both good and evil spirits present. Due to financial difficulties, the Perron family had to live in that house for 10 years before they were finally able to move out.
Esta es una trología que relta los eventos paranormales ocurridos en la graja de la familia Perron (si, los de El Conjuro) el porque se llama de esa forma la trilogía es porque habian tanto espíritus buenos como espiritus malos. Los Perron debido a su problema financiero tuvieron que vivir 10 años en esa casa hasta que pudieron mudarse
As I mentioned, this trilogy—and the specific case from the "Warren Files"—served as the inspiration for the first *The Conjuring* film, directed by horror luminary James Wan.
Como dije, esta trilogía y el caso en sí perteneciente al "Expediente Warren" fue el que inspiró la primera película del El Conjuro dirigida por la eminencia del terror James Wan

And finally, there’s a rather controversial point: after presenting them as reliable facts, Ronald DeFeo Jr.’s lawyer eventually admitted that he and the Lutz family had fabricated several horror stories about the house—the family doing so to make money, and the lawyer using them as a basis to seek a reduced sentence for the accused. Regardless of whether it’s true or not, the book is quite good—and terrifying.
Y por último, uno bastante controversial y es que, después de venderlo como hechos fidedignos, el abogado de Ronald Defeo Jr terminó diciendo que los Lutz y él se inventaron varias historias de terror en torno ala casa,ellos para cobrar dinero y el abogado para ponerlocomo causal y rebajar la pena del acusado. Sea verdad o no, el libro es bastante bueno y aterrador
The story follows the Lutz family—a young couple with three children—who purchased a property at an absurdly low price. This was due to a murder case involving the previous owners: Ronald DeFeo Jr. had drugged his family during dinner, then shot them in the back with a shotgun while they slept in their beds. He later claimed that a voice in the house had commanded him to do it. The Lutzes reported that, during their 28 days in the home, they experienced such horrors that they fled, leaving their belongings behind and moving to the other side of the country. As I said, whether it’s true or not, the narrative is excellent.
La historia nos narra la historia de la familia Lutz, una familia compuesto por un matrimonio joven con tres hijos, compraron la propiedad por un precio irrisoriamente económico debido al caso de asesinato de la familia anterior dueños de la casa, donde Ronald Defeo Jr drogó a su familia durante la cena para luego dispararles con una escopeta por la espalda en sus camas mientras dormian y posteriormente habia dicho que una voz en la casa se lo había ordenado. Los Lutz dijeron que viviendo 28 díasen la casa, vivieron tantos horrores que salieron huyendo de la casa dejando sus pertenencias atras y mudandose al otro lado del país. Como dije, sea real o no, la narrativa es buenísima
