Successful people do what they excel at. Some achieve great things because they're immensely passionate about their work. I have always admired people who know what they really want and pursue it relentlessly. On the other hand, I have always followed what my elders have got to say. I seldom try to accomplish what really is from my heart because I have always based my goals on what others around me are capable of doing.
In some ways, I am 'kiasu'. What others can do, I sometimes can convince myself I am also able to do that something. "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, the mind of man can achieve." This quote occasionally does wonders to me.
But now, I can't foresee myself doing something which I genuinely would like to do in future and spending my remaining life in that job. I don't even know what comes from my heart. I'm not sure what I'm capable of which allows me to earn a decent income.
