I'm in tremendous amount of pain. I'm seeing a lot of people surrounding me losing it. Some taken away by illness, some rendered in total disablement, some are critical condition, but I will leave that part later in the end of this story. For now, I'd like to use this drawing to express my feelings towards the current economy.
1. The nose dive
I was trying to find inspiration everywhere, but mostly about penguins, ostrich, paper plane with a cncrete slab... I couldn't make up my mind. I do have preference on twin verticle stabilizers, especially the Malaysian MIG29.
2. Fuel guzzlers
Fighter pilot YouTuber #gonkey was once an instructor for the RMAF described, it was a unique experience to see a MIG29 emitting black smoke not far from a F18 sharing the same taxi way. Stating that MIG29 was a heavy black smoker. MIG29 the older generation fighter jet is also known for its high fuel consumption.
3. Retired for good
I'm looping a long ribbon on one of the vertical stabilizer and tied it with a balloon. With such high fuel demanding machine, a young country like Malaysia, I'm not surprised the Royal air force no longer able to keep them flying anymore, unless these jets runs on helium.
4. Like it or not
Technically, I'm not really street smart on "perspective". The curvature of the balloon has to be gridded before I can finish it up with wording and shadings. These jets are old. There's no way we can keep burning kerosene for acrobatics show during independence day. With the war going on, pressure on fuel price is also driving every one nuts. No one single engined vehicle are depending on helium. Funny enough, the other day when I fuel up my car, the the waterboy holding a helium balloon, and it has a label of RON95.
5. It hurt
Whilst the fighter jet has absolutely nothing related to my living lifestyle. But the fuel price caused by the war, already spun up a serious inflation. I'm using a fighter jet as an object, it can be a car, it can be anything under the influence of fuel price that resulting in anything "flightless" operating cost keep getting higher and higher, and we can't do absofuckinglutely nothing about it.
Recently I found a long lost friend from the newspaper headline, that he was found dead "fell" from the building. Nobody wanna use the S word, as that may affect any insurance claim proceeding. I just can't imagine what is going through his mind. I wish he could have at least considered himself flightless before commiting it. I'm still feeling tremendous amount of pain, and sometimes I even dream of felling off and woke up from an intense "stepping into a void" situation.
