Today's lunch is pork menudo. It's one of my favorite Filipino dishes and I always love eating it with warm rice. It makes me really happy.
While I was eating I just remembered my mama. She was the one who always cooked this for us before at home. She is no longer here but until now I still remember the taste of her menudo. I really miss her and her cooking so much.
For me her cooking is still the best because she put love in it. That's why when mama cooks it is more delicious. No one can really beat mother's cooking, that's true.
If you still have your mama with you, please love her and give her a hug. Spend more time with her, talk to her, eat with her. We never know until when we have them. Life is really short you know.
I was really tired last night. I cleaned our garage the whole evening and walked around our village for exercise. So this food is my reward for today haha. I really deserve this. Thanks for reading my simple post today. Let's eat guys!
