Have you ever asked yourself why some people, despite having so much, still feel a sense of lack? Meanwhile, others live simple lives—devoid of great luxury—yet manage to go about their days with a profound sense of gratitude.

Perhaps we have been so busy chasing happiness that we have forgotten to understand what happiness truly means.

We grow up in a world that often measures success through numbers, job titles, wealth, popularity, and the recognition of others—as if one is only permitted to be happy once they have met all the standards set by their environment.

Yet, life is not quite that simple.

There are forms of happiness that money cannot buy; there is a peace that cannot be attained through power alone; and there are sincere smiles that arise not because someone possesses everything, but because they are able to embrace their life without ever losing the hope for something better.

Being happy does not mean giving up the struggle; rather, it is the ability to continue appreciating life, even when we have not yet reached our final destination.

Look at the photo above—a simple yellow book with the word "Happy" on it, set against the backdrop of a couple—what do you actually see?

Do you see merely an image, or do you perceive something else?

Could you share your thoughts with me in the comments?

Honestly, I’ve very often heard people say, "I am so happy" or "Our family is so happy" because they possess this or that. Yet, on the other hand, I’ve also heard someone say the exact same thing simply because they have a cute cat. It makes me wonder: on what basis is happiness determined?

Is "happiness" merely a phrase invented by people, or is it truly a psychological state—one that exists independently of any external influences?

Do you have any specific thoughts on what happiness is?

Let’s discuss it; I always enjoy sharing ideas with all of you.
