I was hungry this afternoon so I fried two leg quarters.
Just salt, pepper, and garlic, nothing else. No flour. I wanted the skin really crispy, not thick batter. The oil was very hot so it turned golden fast.
One piece broke when I flipped it. You can see it in the photo. I did not care, I just wanted to eat. Inside it is still soft and juicy. Outside is crunchy. That's how I like it.
I ate it with white rice and vinegar dip. I like to eat with my hands, more tasty that way.
I did not order from outside. I cooked it myself and ate slowly. No rush.
Sometimes good food does not need to be fancy. Just hot, crispy, and enough for one person. This made my afternoon better.
