Hola, hola hermosa comunidad amante de los hilos, feliz y bendecido día, estamos en el último lunes del mes de febrero, lo cual me recuerda que quedan pocos días para que finalice el desafío de mi lista de proyectos pendientes, desde el mes de diciembre me tracé una meta terminar los proyectos de costura pendientes de mi hijo, gracias a Dios he avanzado, la mayoría están cosidos solo me falta el elástico y stickers para decorar las franelas, conseguirlo ha sido difícil, me gusta usar uno que es fuerte y suave, tengo años trabajando con él y funciona muy bien, he ido varias veces a la tienda donde usualmente lo compro y están esperando la mercancía, visité varias tiendas pero no hay el que yo quiero, en esa búsqueda y espera de la llegada de la mercancía han pasado varios días y los proyectos continúan inconclusos por falta de elástico, este año ha sido complicado conseguir ciertos materiales para la costura estuve buscando también las correderas para el top y no hay, iba a usar los que quedaron de un sostén pero son muy grandes para el ancho del sesgo, así que decidí no ponerle correderas y terminar mi primer top así, en la costura tuve un poco de dificultad al pegar el sesgo en la parte de arriba, se atascó justo en esa parte, incluso se rompió un poco cuando halé para sacarlo, el resto del sesgo lo pegué sin contratiempos.

To make the top I also used microterry fabric, the same I used for the panty, thank goodness for the finished set and tasks.

I started by marking and cutting the patterns, 2 pieces of each, then to match I sewed the chest and bust pieces together, facing right sides together, sewed on the inside and flipped.
Inicié marcando y cortando los patrones, 2 piezas de cada una, luego para embonar cosí las piezas del pecho y busto, enfrenté derecho con derecho, cosí por la parte de adentro y volteé.

Para coser los laterales o costado, enfrenté derecho con derecho las piezas que cosí anteriormente, sujeté con alfileres, e hice una "especie de bollo" cosí con puntada recta y volteé.

Luego pegué el sesgo con puntada de zig zag en la parte superior del top estirando 1/2 cm el sesgo y luego 1/ cm sesgo y tela, seguidamente pegué el sesgo lateral usando el método anterior, al llegar a la unión de los sesgos en la parte superior la máquina se trabó y tuve un poco de dificultad, incluso el sesgo se rompió un poco, dejé 30 cm de sesgo para cada tirante. Sewing this top was a challenge achieved with great satisfaction, although it has a small detail at the top of the bias I feel happy because I am mastering the technique of embonado and with more practice I will continue to advance, very happy with my task accomplished and for each learning, new techniques and "tricks" that the instructor gives us in the course to achieve beautiful results and save time.
Coser este top fue un reto logrado con mucha satisfacción, aunque tiene un pequeño detalle en la parte superior del sesgo me siento feliz porque estoy dominando la técnica del embonado y con más práctica seguiré avanzando, muy feliz con mi tarea cumplida y por cada aprendizaje, nuevas técnicas y "trucos" que la instructora nos imparte en el curso para lograr hermosos resultados y ahorrar tiempo.
