Greetings friends crafters and lovers of needles and threads, this is my first post in this community and I am excited to join the project Holozing delegating 500 HP to support the game that will be released in 2024, I also share a sewing project inspired by the logo of the community, it is a pencil case, ideal to carry the pencils to work and keep them organized in the portfolio, we girls like to carry the objects in order and have them on hand when using them, in addition to storing pencils can carry other small items such as stapler, scissors, tape, paper clips and others that are regularly needed in office work.
Saludos amigos artesanos y amantes de las agujas e hilos, es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad y me siento emocionada de unirme al proyecto Holozing delegando 500 HP para apoyar el juego que saldrá el año 2024, también comparto un proyecto de costura inspirado en el logo de la comunidad, se trata de una cartuchera porta lapices, ideal para llevar los lapices al trabajo y mantenerlos organizados en la cartera, a las chicas nos gusta llevar los objetos en orden y tenerlos a la mano al momento de usarlos; además de guardar lapices se pueden llevar otros objetos pequeños como engrapadora, tijera, cinta adhesiva, clips entre otros que regularmente se necesitan en el trabajo de oficina.

Procedure
The first step is to make the holozing logo, for which I joined with straight stitch several pieces of fabric in the colors yellow, pink, turquoise and blue, then I drew the image, cut it out, and took a pattern or mold to make the logo, then with the iron I put the peel in the pieces that I sewed previously to give more firmness to the sticker, I marked the mold and cut the logo.
Procedimiento
El primer paso es hacer el logo holozing, para lo cual uní con puntada recta varios retazos de tela en los colores amarillo, rosa, turquesa y azul, luego dibujé la imagen recorté, y saqué un patrón o molde para hacer el logo, luego con la plancha puse pelón en los retazos que cosí anteriormente para dar más firmeza al sticker, marqué el molde y corté el logo.
Then I cut two squares in main fabric and lining fabric each of 25 * 25 centimeters, I glued a royal blue strip on the top of the square in main fabric to match the logo, then I glued the Holozing logo on the front of the main fabric with straight stitch, then I faced the main fabric and the lining on the right side and sewed all around.
Luego corté dos cuadrados en tela principal y de forro cada uno de 25 * 25 centímetros, pegué una tira azul rey en la parte superior del cuadrado en tela principal para hacer juego con el logo, seguidamente pegué el logo de Holozing en la parte frontal de la tela principal con puntada recta, luego enfrenté por el derecho, la tela principal y el forro y cosí por todo el contorno.
Once the logo was glued and the fabrics were sewn, the next step was to glue the zipper or zipper, for this I made a fold of approximately 0.5 centimeters in the main fabric, faced it with the zipper and sewed with a straight stitch, then I stitched again to decorate and secure the seam; in the same way I sewed the other part of the zipper and turned it inside out.
Pegado el logo y cosidas las telas, el siguiente paso fue pegar la cremallera o cierre, para ello hice un doblez de aproximadamente 0,5 centímetros en la tela principal, enfrenté con la cremallera y cosí con puntada recta, luego repisé para decorar y asegurar la costura; de la misma forma cosí la otra parte de la cremallera y volteé por el revés.
Then I folded the piece leaving 3 centimeters at the top, on one side of the zipper I put a ribbon that will serve as a puller when opening the pencil case and I closed the sides with a straight stitch.
Luego doblé la pieza dejando 3 centímetros en la parte superior, a un lado de la cremallera puse una cinta que servirá de tirador al momento de abrir la cartuchera y cerré los laterales con puntada recta.
The last step is to place the seam cover on the side seams, I cut two strips in POP fabric and sewed them on the right side of the previous seam making a fold, then I opened the zipper, flipped the pencil case and removed the corners with the help of a height stick.
El último paso es colocar el tapa costuras en las costuras laterales, corté dos tiras en tela POP y las cosí por el derecho de la costura anterior haciendo un doblez, luego abrí la cremallera, volteé la cartuchera y saqué las esquinas con ayuda de un palillo de altura.
So, in a few steps is finished the pencil case with a beautiful Holozing logo, initially I wanted to use a black zipper, but when I saw the colors of the logo I decided to use an orange color that looks a bit like a mix of pink and yellow, also combines very well with the light blue color, I liked how the project turned out and the nice colors of the logo that go perfectly with the pencil case and give it a great style.
Así, y en pocos pasos está terminada la cartuchera con un hermoso logo de Holozing, inicialmente quería usar una cremallera de color negro, pero al ver los colores del logo me decidí por uno color naranja que se parece un poco a la mezcla de los colores rosa y amarillo, además combina muy bien con el color azul claro, me gustó como quedó el proyecto y los lindos colores del logo que van al perfección con el porta lapices y le dan un gran estilo.
