Hola amigos de Hive,para hoy les vengo a mostrar como cosi una cartuchera multicolor,con retazos de tela de varios colores,que me quedaron de una camisa que me dieron a coser y me pidieron cortar las mangas,y la otra parte de la manga me quedaron como material. Al principio no sabía que hacer con los retazos pero justo me hicieron un encargo para una actividad escolar,y para hacerla me inspire en la técnica parchwork.

These were leftovers from a shirt I was given to sew; they asked me to cut off the sleeves, and I had the other part of the sleeve left over as material. Comencé por cortar cuadros de las mangas, entonces fui recortando cuadrados iguales de cada color,y así forme un cuadrado más grande de varios cuadrados. Después los organice para ver el orden en como van a ir cosidos.
Step nro 1
I started by cutting squares for the sleeves, then I cut out equal squares of each color, and that way I formed a larger square from several squares. Then I arranged them to see the order in which they would be sewn.
Ahora pase a coser cada cuadro según el orden por color,comencé por la primera fila, uniendo cada cuadrado hasta formar un fila completa,luego pase por la segunda fila,y así fui cosiendo cada fila de cuadros,luego cosí cada fila con la fila continúa hasta completar en cuadrado.
Step nro 2
Now proceed to sew each square according to the color order. I started with the first row, joining each square until I formed a complete row. Then I went through the second row, and so I sewed each row of squares. Then I sewed each row with the next row until I completed the square.
Ya después pase a coserle la cremallera o cierre,lo coloque con alfileres para que no se mueva,y luego fui cosiendo del lado al frente de la tela,ya después cosi del otro lado la cremallera,y por último le pase una costura por encima del cierre.
Step nro 3
Then I proceeded to sew on the zipper. I pinned it in place so it wouldn't move, and then I sewed from the front side of the fabric. After that, I sewed the zipper from the other side, and finally, I sewed a seam over the zipper.
Ya después solamente le pase la costura de los laterales,para cerrar la forma de la cartuchera,pero antes dejé una parte de la cremallera abierta,para así después de coser poder darle la vuelta al derecho.
Step nro 4
Then I just sewed the sides to close the shape of the pencil case, but first I left part of the zipper open so that after sewing I could turn it right side out.
