New Shoes Day!
I love new running shoes! Of course I get the same brand and model each time and always hope that in the newest version nothing has been changed!
Mizuno is my shoe, specifically the Mizuno Wave Riders. I’ve been wearing what ever version of these that are out since I first started running with the exception of the 17s. Mizuno made some mistakes with that one and they weren’t even close to the same shoe. Don’t you just hate that?!? They’ve been getting it right and making this runner a very happy runner indeed!
Even though it’s New Shoe Day I didn’t get to run in my new shoes today. I did run as I do mostish days and here’s a recap of how it went!
My running partner and I headed out to run at 9am it was already warm and humid. 97% Humidity and no, it wasn’t raining...not even mist. The air was so heavy that it felt like running through soup! I know the rest of the nation and world has WAY worse weather problems than I do so I’m really just pissing and moaning.
We kept it nice and easy and managed to get 4 miles in. I hope to everything that everyone else believes in that it’s cooler by the 10 miler race on the 22nd! It’s normally perfect running weather in Atlanta right now.
Even the Halloween yard art couldn’t keep upright today!
