Today I saw a person treat someone else with contempt, a lack of respect and in a manner which was quite hurtful; I'd certainly feel hurt had someone treated me in that way and even though I don't know the context it was a terrible moment, ugly, and an example of a human being demonstrating the worst side of themselves and I don't think there was any winners.
We live in a world that, even though we have a digital connection that spans the globe, I believe is moving is the wrong direction and in which communication is suffering.

Today I thought...what if from this very moment every human on the planet began to treat each other with care, kindness and courtesy. What if people applied understanding, generosity and a sense of nurturing to those they met...Today I thought that should people do that, and expect nothing in return while doing it, the world would be a better place.
It's behaviours like I witnessed today that make me feel out of place in society but that's no way to live, the world is a wondrous place and we should be able to experience and enjoy it without the ugliness that some people bring to it.
