Imagine spending 11 years being completely obsessed with your favourite idol, only to finally get a job at the company where he works… and discover that the man you actually spend most of your time with is the CEO and not your idol😭

That is exactly what happens to Nam Da-reum in My Bias, My Boss.

Da-reum is a devoted fangirl of Lee Chan, her longtime bias, one of the major members of D.N.X.

She joins APPELLO, the fashion company connected to Lee Chan, thinking she is finally living her ultimate fangirl dream, by meeting him and falling in love with him

But there is one problem, she doesn't end up spending all that time with Lee Chan.

Instead, she keeps running into Kang Ha-gi, APPELLO's cold, serious and ridiculously workaholic CEO who doesn't smile not trust anyone.

And somehow, the man she never planned to fall for starts becoming the person she looks forward to seeing.

At first, Ha-gi didn't even trust her because Da-reum previously worked at SE Trading, the company competing with APPELLO, and Ha-gi is already dealing with a serious problem that is someone is leaking APPELLO's confidential information to the other company

And the situation gets even worse when Kim Han-chul, the director at SE Trading, is connected to the attempts to steal APPELLO's ideas and information from Ha-gi most trusted man without his knowledge

So now Ha-gi is thinking, is Da-reum actually a spy?

Meanwhile, Da-reum is thinking, why does my boss keep staring at me like that? 😂

And that's where the fun begins.

Because while Da-reum is still trying to figure out whether she likes Lee Chan or Kang Ha-gi, the two men are also beginning to realize that they are competing for the same woman

nkiri

Lee Chan knows he has the advantage that he's the idol Da-reum has adored for years.

But Ha-gi is the man who is actually there

But he sees her every day and understands her little habits. He sees the side of her that Lee Chan doesn't and before long, the CEO who once suspected her becomes the man who can't stand seeing her with someone else.

The jealousy is REAL and lovely 😂

You can literally see Ha-gi trying to remain professional while Da-reum gets closer to Lee Chan.

But then the story takes a much more serious turn.

There is a betrayal inside APPELLO, there's a mole

Someone Ha-gi trusted is involved in leaking the company's secrets, and the discovery hits him harder than expected, the betrayal isn't just about business, it cuts deeply because Ha-gi genuinely trusted this person and regarded this person as his family

And just when you think the love triangle has finally settled...

Lee Chan refuses to let Da-reum go that easily as he deeply loves her

This is where things get WILD.

Lee Chan realizes that Da-reum's heart is moving toward Ha-gi, so instead of simply accepting defeat, he brings Han Jeong-yeon, Ha-gi's ex, back into the picture.

And let's be honest...

Why does an ex always appear exactly when everything is finally going well? 😭 I was like, why now ni... Or is Ha-gi gonna go back to her?

Han Jeong-yeon isn't just some random woman from Ha-gi's past. Her history with him immediately makes Da-reum uncomfortable, especially when she sees the two of them together and suddenly, all those feelings Da-reum was beginning to trust become uncertain again.

Even worse?

Lee Chan eventually admits that he deliberately used Jeong-yeon to drive a wedge between Ha-gi and Da-reum.

And THAT is the kind of twist that makes you want to keep watching.

Because now you're no longer asking, who will Da-reum choose?

You're asking, how far is Lee Chan willing to go to get her back?

And that's why My Bias, My Boss is so addictive.

Another moment, the team (D.N.X) which was disband came together, forgiving themselves

It gives you the funny fangirl moments, the awkward office romance that they thought no one knew, the jealousy, the cute chemistry and the ridiculous misunderstandings but underneath all of that, there are betrayals, corporate secrets, old relationships and people willing to manipulate the situation to get what they want.

So if you're looking for something that starts with "fangirl finally meets her idol" but slowly turns into "wait… why am I rooting for the CEO instead?", then this is definitely one to watch.

Because in My Bias, My Boss, the real plot twist isn't that Da-reum meets her bias.

It's that she might meet someone who makes her forget why he was her bias in the first place. ❤️‍🔥

And trust me…

You will have your Team Lee Chan moments, you will have your Team Ha-gi moments. But from the beginning I was team Ha-gi, watch and find out why...

Somewhere in between, you'll probably be yelling at your screen. 😂
