Hello LMAC friends!
Here I am again with a new collage. This time, I wanted to make something that felt a little more colorful and alive. I wanted to play around with colors that are a bit different from what I usually use and simply see where they would take me.
Honestly, when I first started working on it, I wasn't really sure what this collage was going to become. I placed some elements, then moved them around again. Some parts seemed to work at first, but after looking at them for a while, they didn't feel quite right anymore. So I kept adjusting things until, little by little, the whole composition started to come together.
I really like the combination of the colorful flowers and butterflies with the black and white spiral pattern in the middle. At first, I wasn't completely sure about the spiral either, but it ended up giving the composition a bit of contrast among all those bright and busy colors.
I didn't really have a clear picture of what the final result would look like when I started. So this time, I just followed the process, tried different things, and let the composition slowly show me where it wanted to go.
And eventually, after moving things around and changing a few parts, this is where I ended up. It may not be exactly what I had imagined at the beginning, but that's actually one of the things I enjoy about making collages.
