Traditional shrimp pond floodgates, where I am in Aceh, shrimp farmers generally use floodgates like the photo I share. we call it by the name of daka that is a common name used by fish pond farmers on the coast of Aceh but he may have many other names to refer to the floodgates in shrimp ponds, the floodgate functions to enter or remove water from the pond, it can also function to measuring the flow of water that enters the pond, generally the floodgates in traditional ponds are made of selected wood that is resistant to all weather.
