Sometimes I wonder what it's like for regular people seeing AI generated ads and media generally.

I've seen the trends on social platforms lately where people show an obvious AI video with captions like "mom asked if this is AI" and I've really wondered what it's like for people whose eyes and brain aren't trained to not only spot AI but also reject it immediately.

How does it feel for them?

Honestly, I imagine that for things like ads, it works pretty well on them.

I imagine that if a regular person saw the image above, they'd be intrigued. It's a beautiful piece and great at promoting what it is promoting up there.

Graphics designers on Upwork were charging an average $5-$10 for these.

Now it takes a matter of seconds for AI to generate at a very low cost.

Just about anybody can get a design like this with a simple text prompt within ChatGPT. Now imagine what people with real talent within the design community can do?

There are people out there currently that are designing assets individually with AI, probably having thousands of high-quality design-unique assets they can use to create impressive works for whatever purpose.

AI has gotten really good at a lot of things and image and video generation is up there.
