Assalamoalaikum!! So, Today i am sharing recipe of "TARO CURRY".Taro curry is one of those dishes that everyone in my house loveess to eat. Whenever it is cooked, the whole home fills with a special aroma and warmth.
The taste is so delicious that it melts in mouth with tasty flavors- a perfect balance of spiced, creamy everyone in my house enjoys it hahah and there is a demand: ' Please make arbi (taro) curry todayyy"!
As i am from pakistan and also pathan so our recipe is different from others and desi recipe...
INGREDIENTS
VEGITABLES:
Taro (500g)
Tomamo (400g)
Green chilli (2 to 3)
Onions(200g)
Ginger garlic paste(2spoon)
MASALAS (SPICES):
corriondor powder (tspoon)
Turmic powder (half spoon)
Red chilli powder(1 tspoon)
Red chilli flakes(1 tspoon)
Mix vegetable masala(1tspoon)
Salt(1 spoon)
FOR CURRY:
yogurt (200g to 250g)
Oil(200g)
Water(240g)
PREPERATION
First add oil to the pan, when the oil gets warm add medium cutted taro(arbi) fry it for 5 to 7 min on medium flame.
When it gets golden then stain it to the plate.
Then add choped onion in the oil fry until it gets golden then add ginger garlic paste and cutted tomato and green chili's.
Cook it for almost 4 mints then add masalas(spices).
When spices are added then add a half cup of water then cook it for 5 mints. Then add the fried taro(arbi) add remaining half cup of water then fry it until it's water get evaporate, then add 200g of yogurt.
Then cook it for 7 to 8 mints and taro curry is readyyyy...
We it it with simple rice or chapatti. I like to it eat it with chapatti and i love it.
