Unexpected downpour of heavy rains caused floods on the streets. Even the streets in front of a famous mall here in Bacolod wasn't an exception. Vehicles couldn't passed by and public transportation have to reroute just to continue their service.

If you're cold and sleepy like me who needs a stronger dose of caffeine to function, how far will you go to have your dose of coffee?

The heavy downpour of the rain and the flooded streets couldn't stopped me from getting what I wanted. I was totally tip-toeing in the road, and trying to find a part where it wasn't that flooded to avoid my shoes from getting soaked. Still, I was a bit drenched on the way from the sprays of rain I got from the wind often going to my direction. The bad weather couldn't stop me from achieving my main objective. And... just for a cup of strong coffee. Those instant coffee couldn't have any effect in me and even that local Barako coffee.

I was back again in this place once again, and from here on, I know that this wouldn't be just the second time. Last time, I came to this place and I liked their coffee since it seemed to have an immediate effect on me that lasted for hours and that's why I came back, but now, I have a friend with me.

I invited her to have a coffee date with me since she was already at the downtown waiting for the rain to stop. They were shivering outside the fast food chain when I got to her, so I treat a hot drink from this shop to warm our bodies. I let order what she wants, and she said she doesn't drink coffee, so she choose an Iced Chocolate instead. And there I thought that she was feeling cold but ended up to be just me.

This time, I ordered their brewed coffee while my friend was really sure to have her Iced Choco. The barista asked me how strong I want, and I asked for the strongest one they have like I was that invincible to any dosage of caffeine.

How far can your boredom go? We've seen some spilled beans on the counter. From the looks of it, each of the bean was of different kinds. We've collected them on the counter. There were still some but the barista were already laughing at me and we just laughed at ourselves.

Few minutes passed, and we had our orders. When I claimed our orders on the counter, I asked for a creamer for the first time. The, I took a sip of my coffee to determine how much sugar and creamer will I put in it. But it turns out to be just fine, it's not necessary to add anything. I just thought that it would be super strong like the Americano had in Seattle's Best, and it's just like the half of it.

Welp, and that's how it went. A cup of brewed coffee on a cold weather. Thanks for reading my blog. All photos are mine unless stated otherwise.
