I'm not usually fond of doing something fun on my rest days because it's intended for rest. However, it's kind of unproductive and boring sometimes to just stay at home. So even if I don't like doing anything, we'll go outside, then just stroll, window shopping, grab a coffee and amuse ourselves with what we can observe at the mall.
I know there are other places worth visiting other than the mall but it's the most accessible and convenient place for me. I don't like to do anything anyway, why bother planning and check other places. I just wanna see other human beings aside from ourselves at home to assure myself I'm still living in the present.
Afternoon Walk at Ayala Capitol Mall
There's something bustling as we approached the entrance. It's a promotion for local farmer's produce. My lethargic thought there might be coffee, so I insisted to enter and check. I badly needed a stimulant.
We found fresh fruits and vegetables here, but no coffee so we went ahead inside instead.
We don't have any particular plans on what to do, just sightseeing and have a coffee if we feel like it.
On the event area, Book & Brew is still there. It might be different book sellers now from what I could remember before, not sure since we didn't checked closely.
I took a snap and sent it to my friend Bree. She was so excited seeing my post on Instagram about this before but I shattered her excitement when I told her it was an old photo and that event happened a few weeks ago already. Just then, I felt a sense of making it up to her, so I told her it's still there if ever she still wanted to check it out.
That virtual reality booth is getting permanently placed in that area. It feels weird to me since it's facing the entrance. People will see how you react and scream while wearing that device and riding in that seat. NOPE, I'm not ever wanna try doing that.
The giant chessboard has been moved there as well. That kind of recreational game here on the ground floor is acceptable unlike the VR one. I might as well just find a bench and sit silently while drinking my coffee than embarrassed myself. Well, those kind of things aren't just for me, but still, there are people who is very opposite of me that wanting that kind of experience. Good for them, bad for me, though.
I couldn't recall we did something significantly on this day. We checked the store for eyeglasses and then bought drinks. After a few minutes, I suggest we go home since the skies were about to pour and we didn't have an umbrella.
