Historic house where fresh herbs, vegetables, and fruits are grown for Gilardis.
To some people Springfield Missouri may be small but when you’re from a little town that consist of pharmacy’s, pizza places, Chinese restaurants, Mexican restaurants, and a couple small grocery stores It is huge by comparison. Last week Julian and I travelled to Springfield Missouri with my family to celebrate our two year anniversary and graduating. Day one we spent The day traveling and getting comfortable in our hotel room. Later that night we did go eat at Gilardis, which is a very extravagant Italian restaurant (that cost more than our hotel room.) Sorry that I forgot to take a picture of the dish I picked. While traveling we only ate some chips and a hot dog, so I had half of my meal scarfed down before I thought of taking a picture of it. I did get a picture of our desert though!!
Tiramisu
Peach Cobbler
Both desserts were very delecicous!!! After we was done eating we went to my parents hotel and checked it out, it was very nice and well kept (but over priced.)
University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center
Waterfall that is in one of the sitting rooms
After we hung out in their room for a while and talked we drove back to our hotel to get some rest, (which I ended up booking it 40 minutes away from Springfield without knowing.)
