Yes—it’s Friday and I’m ever so glad! It seems like work keeps getting me down a bit with the responsibilities I now have. The biggest headache is trying to get the second doc on board for the insurances. It seems there’s no clear path. Even he’s not sure about a lot of it and he’s done his own credentialing in the past. I’ve never done this in this particular fashion, so it’s new territory for me. At least I’ve got company in it, lol, for today we both felt a bit lost. On a bright note-I’ve successfully gotten him on board for our location with one insurance! Now, only a few more dozen to go!
I was expecting a special package arrival at home today. It had finally come!
I’d ordered, as an early, early birthday present, the Humble Lamb Maker BSB first edition Bible! I’ve been looking for a BSB version for the past year but without any luck.
Upon opening the box, I was greeted with the Bible in a very nice box along with the card you see. There was a mistake in the printing of a verse in the Book of Ruth, and they supplied a sticker correction should you wish to fix it. I’ll keep the sticker but think I’ll leave the page as it was printed.
Once the plastic was removed and the box opened, it was wrapped in 2 directions with a parchment paper-like wrap. I was able to slide it off rather than ripping or cutting it.
The Bible is covered in goatskin leather and is super soft. The edges are gilded gold. The edge has a picture of Jesus on it. Its beautifully done.

The pages of this Bible is rich in lithographs of the artwork of artist Dore’, and simply stunning. There are 220 of them as well as 14 full-color maps. It is a beautiful Bible I will treasure and enjoy studying!
I didn’t notice the back of the card that covered the whole Bible until later. Matthew 24:35 is printed there.
The Berean Standard Bible is modeled after the Bereans who approached studying the Bible as “don’t just simply accept what you’re told—study and confirm it in the Scriptures “.
I have a few Bibles—just ask
