Today you would have turned 78, Mom, and even though you鈥檙e not here physically, I feel your presence in every corner of my life. There are days when your absence weighs heavier, but today I鈥檝e decided to fill everything with love, gratitude, and those memories that embrace my soul.
You taught me so much about life, but there鈥檚 one thing that stayed deeply in my hands and in my heart: the art of knitting. It wasn鈥檛 just about making stitches and forming shapes; it was your way of loving, of caring, of creating with patience and dedication. Today, every time I pick up the yarn and the needle, I鈥檓 not alone鈥攜ou鈥檙e with me, guiding my movements, whispering to me in silence, reminding me that everything made with love has immense value.

Hoy cumplir铆as 78 a帽os, mam谩, y aunque no est谩s f铆sicamente, siento tu presencia en cada rinc贸n de mi vida. Hay d铆as en los que tu ausencia pesa m谩s, pero hoy decido llenarlo todo de amor, de gratitud y de esos recuerdos que me abrazan el alma.
Me ense帽aste tanto de la vida, pero hay algo que se qued贸 profundamente en mis manos y en mi coraz贸n: el arte de tejer. No era solo hacer puntos y formar figuras, era tu manera de amar, de cuidar, de crear con paciencia y dedicaci贸n. Hoy, cada vez que tomo el hilo y la aguja, no estoy sola, est谩s t煤 conmigo, guiando mis movimientos, susurr谩ndome en silencio, record谩ndome que todo lo hecho con amor tiene un valor inmenso.
Sometimes I pause, look at what I鈥檓 creating, and smile, because I know that in every stitch there鈥檚 a little piece of you. In every finished project, you鈥檙e there. You鈥檙e part of who I am, what I do, and what I share.
Today I honor you this way, just as you taught me: by creating, by teaching, and by feeling you close to me in every movement of my hands. In every stitch there is a little piece of you, and in each of my achievements, you are there too.
I miss you every day, Mom, but today I also celebrate your life, your love, and everything you planted within me.
