Greetings to all the beautiful #foodiesbeehive community. Pleased to be with you all for another day. I'm still in the mood for the day of love and friendship. It's just that this day is not to be missed. Well, actually I have some goodies and cookie dough left and I wanted to take advantage of them, so today I bring you a romantic arrangement made with skewers with strawberries and marshmallows.

Es que ese día es como para no dejarlo pasar. Bueno, en realidad es que me han quedado algunas golosinas y pasta para galletas y las he querido aprovechar, así que hoy les traigo un romántico arreglo hecho con brochetas con fresas y malvaviscos.

The ingredients are or elements are to make 12 skewers:
24 strawberries.
100 grams of chocolate couverture.
12 twisted marshmallows.
12 marshmallows with red hearts and some white hearts.
1 large guava or other fruit that can be used to stick the skewers.
A plastic soda bottle.
Red tissue paper.
A gold ribbon.

Los ingredientes son o elementos son para hacer 12 brochetas:
24 fresas.
100 gramos de chocolate cobertura.
12 malvaviscos entorchados.
12 malvaviscos de corazones rojos y algunos blancos.
1 guayaba grande u otra fruta que sirva para clavar las brochetas.
Una botella plástica de refresco.
Papel de seda rojo.
Una cinta dorada.

Procedure:

As I told you I had some leftover cookie dough from the jumbo cookie I posted two days ago. In that post you can find the recipe for the cookies, but these are just an optional decorative element. You can substitute another element such as other fruits. With the cookie dough I made some heart shaped ones on popsicle sticks and baked them for 10 minutes.

Procedimiento: Como les había comentado me sobró un poco de pasta para galletas de la galleta jumbo que publiqué hace dos días. En ese post podrán encontrar la receta de las galletas, pero estás solo son un elemento decorativo opcional. Se puede sustituir por otro elemento como otras frutas. Con la pasta de galleta realicé unas en forma de corazón sobre paletas de helado y las horneé por 10 minutos.

I then coated the edge of the cookies with melted chocolate in a double boiler and added colored sprinkles..

Luego bañé el borde de las galletas con chocolate derretido a baño María y les agregué grageas de colores.

After cleaning and drying the strawberries I dipped them in melted chocolate and put them in the fridge for a few minutes.

Después de limpiar y secar las fresas las sumergí en chocolate derretido y las llevé a la nevera por unos minutos.

The next step was to start assembling the skewers. First I placed a strawberry, a red heart marshmallow, then a twisted marshmallow and finally a strawberry with chocolate. I like symmetry so I placed them all in almost the same order, but it is up to each person to choose. After I had the twelve skewers ready, I put the guava in the container made with the base of the plastic bottle and stuck the skewers in it.

El siguiente paso fue empezar a armar las brochetas. Primero coloqué una fresa, un malvaviscos de corazón rojo, después un malvavisco entorchado y por último una fresa con chocolate. Me gusta la simetría por eso los coloqué todos casi en el mismo orden, pero es elección de cada quien. Luego de tener listas las doce brochetas introduje la guayaba en el envase hecho con la base de la botella plástica y clavé en ella las brochetas.
