After an exhausting day of work, I came home after picking up some large mason jars, to find my wife making some steam buns. These are a bit smaller than her typical steam buns, almost the size of potsticker dumplings.
Judging from the bowl, it look liked she grinded up some already grounded beef. She then added some leek to have some vegetables in the mix. An interesting combination to say the least. My favorite been ground pork with some form of root vegetable and carrots (she'll post a video of that in the future).
I don't know what makes me highly anticipate her dumplings, but I am never disappointed regardless how she makes them. They are delicious. Sometimes I would like them to be a little crispy, but that would mean pan frying instead of the healthier steaming method.
