Chinese New Year made me breathe a little because I haven't been on vacation for a week. Even though I'm not a worker, just a housewife. We have been mourning for a week because my husband's grandmoa passed away and during the week I was busy helping my mother in law with everything related to grandma.
I helped my mother in law with the paperwork for the death certificate. It was a little difficult because my grandmother died at home, so all the letters had to be taken care of at the government office. Grandmother's death certificate is needed to stop the government paying pensions to grandmothers.
After all the paperwork was done, I ordered my husband to take him to a unique coffee shop. I always ask him first when it comes to coffee shops, because he knows best about this. He said I would be invited to a unique coffee shop as I requested, this coffee shop used to always order Sipirok coffee beans from my husband's garden.
I was invited to a coffee shop called Rooster Coffee. In my imagination, this coffee shop must have a lot of Rooster as the name suggests, but very contrary to the reality, this coffee shop does not have a rooster in its yard.
The First Impression
This coffee shop looks like a coffee shop that has a horror theme, if we enter from the main gate, it looks like this coffee shop is wearing an old house that has a banyan tree beside the yard. At first I was afraid because it's not like a coffee shop in general, but there's nothing wrong with trying it. At first, I asked to be invited to a unique coffee shop, right?
At the entrance, you can see a display in the form of a wooden sculpture that looks like a human face, adding a bit of a sense of horror and spooky like the one in Indonesian horror films.
After entering from the main door, we will immediately find the cashier's desk and the bar table. Here we can directly order a cup of coffee and pay for it immediately. I ordered a glass of caramel milk coffee which is said to be a favorite of many people. For one glass of caramel milk coffee is priced at 25,000 IDR.
The caramel milk coffee I ordered had a good taste, it was clear they used selected coffee beans. Usually if I drink milk coffee it will be bad for my stomach, but for caramel milk coffee this time it doesn't make my stomach gurgle in pain.
Cats Around You
I chose to sit on a chair that was already owned by a cat, he looked very relaxed sleeping while peeking at the human sitting next to him. I couldn't choose a seat because almost all the seats were full of customers. This cat looks very clean and healthy, his body is also very fat like an air bubble. I asked the waiters, indeed the owner of this coffee shop likes cats and all the cats in this coffee shop are fed and bathed.
The Spectacular Murals
Then I walked around the coffee shop, there were lots of murals plastered on the walls around the coffee shop. I think the murals have high artistic value. There was a mural that was scribbled like a beautiful woman but half a demon. scribbled in metallic blue ink. Then there are many other murals that I don't understand the meaning of.

On the other, I entered from the back door, there was a room that was often used for a photo studio, it looked complete with some properties such as chairs and some abstract paintings. I saw some customers here seem to be using this studio and I saw a lot of photographers setting up their cameras.
I also took some photos of myself as a collection, I asked my husband to take a photo of me in front of this horror coffee shop. I'm glad to know that this unique coffee shop exists. Even though it has a horror theme, it looks friendly with cats which are my favorite pets, and the taste of the coffee offered is also very good, good quality and a comfortable place. It seems that once in a while I can escape from my world and sit in this coffee shop sipping a good cup of coffee.
