Bog of Wails is an area in Fenmoor Basin that is famous for its swampy wetlands. Many frightening cries of spirits can be heard there and this is the main reason why it was named Bog of Wails. The spirits of people who were evil during their lives, committed cruel acts, tortured others and killed people mercilessly live here.
These spirits had been living in this area long before the arrival of people in Praetoria. Whenever a living human entered this area, they would attack and kill them.
Even today these spirits continue to hunt living creatures. Actually, Bog of Wails is their main hiding place and they rule this entire area. No living creature can pass through here without being attacked mercilessly. They do not care about anyone's beliefs or identity.
Today I want to talk about Wailing Wraith, a monster with a low mana cost but very suitable powers and abilities that can prove to be an excellent selection in any battle.
SKIN AND APPEARANCE
First let's talk about the visual appearance and skin of this monster. Currently it is only available in the Standard Skin in the market which looks very impressive. Since it belongs to the Death Element you can see purple-colored lines in its background which make the image even more beautiful.
It is a dead spirit character with hair that looks like plasma. Its appearance is similar to a ghost just like Dracula. Both of its hands have very sharp claws which it uses to hunt living creatures. The necklace around its neck actually works as its armor which provides protection.
This is a 4 mana monster that you can use in all types of battles whether they are low, medium or high mana battles. It gives you flexibility when selecting it for any battle. However it is much better to select it in low or medium mana battles so that you can take full advantage of its excellent powers and abilities.
It is a melee attacker with 2 melee attack power. It will continue attacking enemy units with +2 attack power in every round and deal heavy damage to them.
It has 2 armor which provides protection to its health and its armor is quite impressive considering its mana cost. It has 5 health which defines its life and this is also very good health. If we combine its armor and health according to its mana cost it can easily survive for 4 to 5 rounds.
It has 3 speed which increases its attack speed and also helps it avoid enemy attacks.
At maximum level it has four special abilities including Armored Strike, Reach, Affliction and Rust. These abilities not only support itself but also help its allied units and reduce the armor of enemy units.
Let's learn about these abilities in detail.
ARMORED STRIKE
This is its first ability. With this ability, its melee attack increases by the amount of armor it has remaining.
For example if it has not received any attack and its Armored Strike ability is active, it will perform its normal 2 melee attack and its remaining 2 armor will also be added to its melee attack.
This means it will attack with a total of +4 attack power.
REACH
This is its second ability. With this ability you can make this monster attack while keeping it in the second position.
Normally, melee attackers can only attack when they are in the first position. However with the Reach ability, this monster can stay in the second position and still perform attacks.
This gives you flexibility to use it in different ways in battles with different mana caps.
AFFLICTION
This is its third and special ability.
It has a 50% chance of applying Affliction after every successful attack. The unit affected by Affliction cannot be healed again.
RUST
This is its fourth and final ability.
It reduces the armor of all enemy units by -1 or -2, and this effect happens only once during the battle. As a result, the enemy lineup becomes weaker making it easier to destroy enemy units.
BEST POSITION FOR DIFFERENT BATTLES
Now lets talk about its important positions which are very important for any battle.
As I mentioned earlier, avoid selecting it in high mana battles because heavy attacks are common there and its health and armor are not high enough to survive them easily. However if you still select it, place it in the fourth or fifth position.
In medium mana battles try to place it in the second position so that you can take advantage of its Reach ability while it continues performing melee attacks.
If you are playing a low mana battle you can also use it in the frontline as a tank monster. The second position is another option available to you. It can perform melee attacks from both positions.
PRICE AND RENTING
Now lets talk about the most important section of this content which is its price and renting.
Currently this card is available in the market from Level 1 to Level 8 at different prices.
At the starting level you can get it for around $0.17. However as you continue upgrading it, the price increases and at maximum level, it will cost you around $9 which is quite reasonable for this card.
Still if you cannot afford to buy this card, you can also rent it.
Its rental price starts from 1 DCC per day and goes up to 20 DCC. This way you can easily add it to your deck and take full advantage of its excellent powers and abilities.
