Today I have reviewed one of the Earth Splinter cards which belongs to the Human race and its mana cost is 7. Its name is Folen Flameye. And I specifically reviewed it today because of its health which is quite high. So I thought of reviewing it and telling you everything. So let's review it.
First let's talk about its stats. At maximum level its stats are like this. Its mana cost is 7. Its attack is 4 and its attack type is melee. Its speed is 3. Its armor is 1 and its health is 12. As I told you its health is quite high because of which it can survive for a long time. And its 4 melee attack and 12 health is a very good combination. And its mana cost is also not too high. With this mana cost we can play it in mid to high mana battles.
Now let's talk about its abilities. At max level it has four abilities. Flank , Thorns, Divine, Shield and Impede.
First let's talk about Flank. Flank is a very interesting ability. Because of the Flank ability if we place Folen Flameye in the first position then the monster we have in the second position gets Reach. This means that our monster in the second position can also attack the enemy frontline monster. So using Folen Flameye with a strong melee attacker can make a very good combination.
Thorns is also a very good ability of Folen Flameye because when an enemy attacks Folen Flameye that enemy gets 2 damage back. So in a way it punishes the enemy for attacking. If the enemy damages Folen Flameye then the enemy also gets damage back in return.
Now let's talk about its third ability which is Divine Shield. Because of the Divine Shield ability Folen Flameye does not receive its first damage. When the enemy attacks it for the first time it does not receive that damage because of this ability.
And this ability is very useful because Folen Flameye already has armor and good health. And if its first attack is also protected then it can survive for even longer.
Because of the Impede ability when Folen Flameye attacks any monster its speed is reduced by one point. And this makes it very useful against fast enemies because when Folen Flameye attacks them their speed is reduced by one point. In this way they keep becoming slower. So this ability is also very useful.
Now let's talk about its best position. In my opinion keeping Folen Flameye in the first position is the best. From there it can use its abilities properly. And because of the Flank ability it is also important to keep it in the first position because then the second monster also gets Reach and can attack the enemy frontline monster. Apart from this its other three abilities can also be used properly when it is in the first position.
I would never like to keep it in the backline because from there it will not be able to attack. Because it is a melee monster and a melee monster should be in the first position. So because of this keeping it in the first position is the best.
Now let's talk about its weaknesses. Folen Flameye has some weaknesses. For example its speed is 3 which is average. It is not too fast and not too slow. The second weakness is that its armor is only 1. If it was 2 or 3 it would still be better but its armor is only 1. So if its armor and Divine Shield are gone then it will directly start taking damage to its health. And there is one more weakness which is its mana cost is 7. This means we can play it in mid to high mana battles but we cannot play it in low mana battles.
Now let's talk about my overall opinion.
Overall I found it a very good and strong card because its abilities are also very good and its health is also good. Its other stats are also very good. At max level its 4 melee attack and 12 health are also very good stats. In my opinion the biggest advantage of Folen Flameye is that it is not only a frontline attacker but it also supports the melee monster in the second position. If you place it in the first position and put a strong melee attacker behind it then it will be able to use its abilities in the best way. So if you ask me how many points I would give it out of 10 then I would like to give it 9.5 out of 10 because I found it a very good and strong card.
